*3rd POV

"Do you think Dad is mad at Sheldon?" Missy asked Georgie with an excited look on her face.

"Hey, that's your brother." Georgie replied, giving Missy a strange look. "Come here... stop snooping around."

"What are we doing here?" Missy glanced around the room. "...Why is it so clean in here?"

"Oh yeah, I cleaned it this morning." Georgie said as he picked up his guitar, "Do you want to learn to play the guitar?".

"...I've never seen you holding a guitar before. Can you even play it?" Missy asked, giving him a skeptical look. "Whose guitar is it anyway?".

"This is from school. Here, hold this guitar." Georgie said, handing it to her. But when Missy held the guitar with her small frame, he chuckled. "...Yeah, you need to learn the ukulele first."

Georgie took the guitar back and looked at Missy, who shot him a side-eye. "And yes, I can play the guitar."

Missy didn't believe what Georgie said and kept giving him that look. "Prove it."

"What do you want me to play?" Georgie asked, smiling at her. His smile made Missy slightly trust her big brother. "I don't know." she said, shaking her head.

Georgie hummed and tried tuning the guitar, searching for the right song for the moment from his memories. "Ohh, how about I make a song for you?" Georgie said with a grin on his face.

He looked at Missy with a wide smile, surprising her with his words. "Wh… What?" Missy stared at Georgie but now had a big smile on her face. "You can do that?!"

She stood in front of Georgie, her eyes sparkling. "You really can do that, brother?"

"…What? Brother? This is the first time you've called me brother." Georgie said with a chuckle.

Missy and Sheldon never called Georgie 'brother'. They were more comfortable calling him 'Georgie'.

"..." Missy blushed, but her eyes were still full of excitement as she waited to hear the song Georgie would play for her.

"All right, I'll play a song for my cute little sister… Wait a minute."

Missy sat on Georgie's bed, staring at him intently, waiting for him patiently to sing to sing a song for her.

"...Why are you so excited about this? Aren't you worried I might sing a terrible song?" Georgie teased, looking at Missy before starting to sing.

"It's okay. I just like it when you sing for me." Missy said directly, without overthinking. Georgie, hearing this, smiled widely.

"...Just between you and me... I like you more than Sheldon." he whispered to her.

"Of course you do." Missy rolled her eyes at Georgie's comment. Well, if anyone had to choose between Missy and Sheldon, it was almost guaranteed Missy would win. Missy knew this. Sheldon was special, but his personality and behavior often made people less fond of him.

"Hahaha." Georgie laughed but didn't deny her statement. "All right, here I present my original song about you, my 'little sister.'" Georgie said, making Missy smile widely even more.

CHRIS BURTON – LITTLE SISTER

*You came home from school today and put your hands up

Said, 'I'm done with that place'*

Missy giggled at the lyrics but kept paying attention to Georgie's fingerstyle guitar playing.

*Screamin' out that no one never understands ya

Tears streaming down your face, ooh*

*When a fire burns as bright as the one inside ya

It can be a little much, yeah, yeah*

Missy fell silent, listening intently to Georgie's singing. She understood what he was singing about. Don't underestimate Missy for not being as academically brilliant as Sheldon. Missy was a genius in her own way, especially in understanding the world around her.

*Some people don't know how to act around ya

And I know that must be rough*

Georgie understood Missy's struggles—how she was treated, and how often she was compared to Sheldon's genius. Even their parents tended to prioritize Sheldon over Missy. Sure, both parents loved them, but... well, you know.

*And the world will try to change you

Try to make you fit their frame

But your heart is wild

And wild hearts should not be tamed, so*

Georgie stopped strumming and looked deeply at Missy, singing softly as if he was speaking directly to her, Don't change, don't blame yourself, and keep doing what you want to do. I'm here for you, and I'll support you no matter what.

Missy felt the weight of his words, and her eyes filled with tears, ready to fall at any moment.

*Hey, little sister, don't be careful what you wish for

Hey, little sister, keep chasing

Hey, little sister, don't you let 'em try to fix ya

Hey, little sister, stay crazy

Crazy as you are

So stay as crazy as you are

I know it's gonna take you far

I love you crazy as you are, are, are*

Missy began to cry while laughing at the lyrics Georgie sang. She giggled uncontrollably, unable to contain her emotions. Georgie, still focused on playing for Missy, didn't notice someone peeking into his room. Neither did Missy, who was entirely engrossed in the song Georgie played for her.

*I know sometimes it's warfare when we argue

Slamming doors and calling names (calling names)*

Missy recalled the arguments between her and georgie, between her and sheldon, but she knew it was just part of being family. In the end, they always sat down together for family dinner.

*And I know, and I know I should tell you that I'm sorry

But it's hard to (hard to)

We're so proud it's such a shame (such a shame)*

Missy lowered her head and whispered, barely audible, "I'm sorry." to Georgie, who didn't hear her. But it didn't matter. They would always remain family.

*And the world will try to change you

Try to make you fit their frame

But your heart is wild

And wild hearts should not be tamed, so*

Georgie sang while pointing to his chest. Missy noticed this gesture and looked at Georgie, seeing his smile—a promise that he wouldn't leave and would always be there for her.

*Hey, little sister, don't be careful what you wish for

Hey, little sister, keep chasing (your dream!)

Hey, little sister, don't you let 'em try to fix ya

Hey, little sister, stay crazy

Crazy as you are

So stay as crazy as you are

I know it's gonna take you far

I love you crazy as you are, are, are*

This time, Georgie stopped playing the guitar and sat beside Missy. He looked at her, her face now streaked with tears. He whispered to her:

*So when you need to think twice

Just remember my advice

And you're gonna be alright in this world*

Georgie kissed Missy's forehead and hugged her. Missy hugged him back tightly, crying in his arms.

"You stink." she muttered, but she didn't let go of the hug.

"Haha, should I take a shower now?" Georgie laughed at her comment.

"No... it's okay." Missy replied, still clinging to Georgie.

{That was the longest hug my sister had ever given to my brother… or to anyone else. I probably shouldn't ruin this moment, but I need something from Georgie.} – Adult Sheldon

(This is adult Sheldon narrating; his thoughts are marked with {}.)

As their hug stretched on, Georgie's door swung wide open, and the voice of a small child rang out.

"You lied to me and Mrs. Fenley! Didn't you say you wanted to learn to play the guitar? I saw and heard you play it expertly just now!"

Missy gasped at the sight of Sheldon standing in Georgie's doorway. She immediately released Georgie, stood up, and ran out of the room, not forgetting to shoot Sheldon a sting eye on her way out.

"Ugh!" Missy exclaimed to Sheldon, but then she noticed that it wasn't just Sheldon standing outside Georgie's room—George and Mary were also there. "Great!"

Mary approached Missy and hugged her tightly, tears streaming down her face. George didn't look at Mary or Missy; of course, he loved his family, but he had no idea that his eldest son could sing and play the guitar!

"...I didn't know you could sing!" George said, staring at Georgie, who smiled back at them.

"Of course, I can sing. Even Sheldon can sing—though, good or bad is debatable." Georgie replied, giggling to himself.

"But you're so damn good..." George said, nodding his head. Missy pulled away from Mary's hug and looked back at Georgie.

"It's decided! That's my song! You can only sing it for me!" she declared, her face still wet with tears.

"Hahaha, sure... And Sheldon, of course, I can play the guitar. See that poster? Obviously, I'm learning to be like him... Well, at least I'll be able to play music and share a stage with him." Georgie said jokingly, pointing to the Axl Rose poster above his bed.

"Didn't you borrow that guitar to practice and get better? If you borrowed it when you were already good at playing, then you've lied!" Sheldon exclaimed, but Georgie didn't argue.

"Sheldon… if you're good at something, it doesn't mean you stop there. You should never stop just because you're good at something. Practice harder and keep learning; it opens up new levels of mastery and refinement." Georgie explained to Sheldon, and everyone listened intently.

"...." Sheldon stayed silent, merely staring at Georgie.

"Well, besides, I got this guitar for free, right?" Georgie added in his typical style. They all shook their heads after hearing Georgie say something that broke the previous aphorisms.

{...Georgie is... my big brother...} Adult Sheldon narrated shyly, but then another voice interrupted his thoughts.

{Admit it, you love your brother so much!} a female voice teased him.

{Oh, shut up, you...!} Adult Sheldon snapped back in his mind.
