*3rd POV

"Hello, Mary." a pastor stood at the door of the Cooper household, smiling warmly with a face full of kindness.

"Hello, Pastor Jeff, please come in." Mary invited him inside. As she did, Pastor Jeff's face turned serious.

"Where is he?" Pastor Jeff asked Mary with a grave expression.

"I don't know how powerful he is, but I can pray for him to leave the body. And if I can't do that, I can inform—"

Pastor Jeff's words were cut off as Georgie walked toward him.

"Hello there." Georgie said, extending his hand toward Pastor Jeff.

"..." Pastor Jeff stared at Georgie and his hand before his face softened into a friendly smile again.

"Hello, Georgie. Nice to see you." Pastor Jeff said and shake his hand.

Georgie maintained his smile, looking directly at Pastor Jeff. Mary, observing their interaction, grew uneasy.

"Uh… Pastor Jeff, let's talk outside with George." Mary suggested.

Pastor Jeff released Georgie's hand and nodded at Mary, following her and George to the backyard for their discussion.

*Georgie's POV

I chuckled, noticing Pastor Jeff's expression shift from warm to deadly serious.

"What is he doing here, brother?" Missy's voice rang in my ear as she glanced at Pastor Jeff and our parents.

I turned to her with a smirk, "They want to exorcise the demon inside me." I said, laughing out loud.

Missy's eyes widened in shock and fear.

"Wha... What?"

"Oh, please. Ghosts and demons are figments of the overactive human imagination, often fueled by fear and a fundamental misunderstanding of basic scientific principles." Sheldon chimed in skeptically.

Missy exhaled, relieved. "Phew… I thought the same. Ghosts and demons aren't real."

"Haha, yeah, you could say that..." I replied but couldn't resist the urge to stir up some mischief. Just a little prank wouldn't hurt.

I sat between them and turned on the TV, a smirk still on my face.

"What?" Missy asked, confused by my expression.

"Nothing…" he said as she snuggled into my side.

"I have a plan…" I whispered to Missy, making sure Sheldon didn't overhear. Her grin widened as I laid out my idea.

*3rd POV in the backyard

"Thank you for coming, Pastor Jeff." Mary said, glancing at George.

"Well… as I mentioned before, something's changed about Georgie. I fear it might be for the worse." she said hesitantly.

"I told you, Georgie is fine." George replied softly.

"Oh, George, I know you feel it too." Mary said, earning only a scoff from him.

"I know this is hard, Mary, but I'll assure you there's nothing wrong with Georgie." George said, turning away.

"Oh, really? Then can you explain why Georgie has the power to send people to the hospital?" Mary challenged, her eyes locked on George.

"Mark 5:1-20." Pastor Jeff interjected, "This passage tells the story of Jesus encountering a man possessed by many demons in the region of the Gerasenes. The man lived among the tombs and couldn't be restrained, even with chains."

Mary raised an eyebrow, glancing at George.

"What I'm saying is, we have to trust our son. He doesn't show any tendencies toward… you know… evil." George replied, making Mary feel a pang of guilt over her concerns about Georgie.

"Georgie wanted this." she murmured. "All I'm saying is we're trying our best for him. If nothing's wrong, then I'll apologize to him."

George sighed deeply and looked at Pastor Jeff. "If you hurt my son…" He stopped mid-sentence, glancing at Mary. "…and no more of this. This could become talk for our neighbors… gossip."

"You don't need to worry about that. Only we and God know about this." Pastor Jeff reassured with a smile.

"Let's go inside." George grumbled. He didn't like this situation one bit, especially knowing his son was on track to becoming a superstar.

The three of them reentered the house, their eyes landing on the children.

"Sheldon, Missy, go to your room." George said, looking at them.

"Why?" Missy asked, staying close to Georgie.

"…Now!"

George said nothing more, simply ordering both Sheldon and Missy to leave the room. Missy grumbled in protest while Sheldon stared at George and Mary.

"I don't believe in ghosts or demons. They are just folklore and superstitions for children. Ghosts and demons belong to the realm of the unobservable, unquantifiable, and untestable. As a man of science, I prefer to focus on phenomena that can be rigorously examined and explained through empirical evidence and logical deduction." Sheldon stated firmly.

"Yeah, yeah... now go." George said, waving him off. For once, George found himself agreeing with Sheldon.

Mary guided Sheldon and Missy back to their room. "Alright, Shelly and Missy, I'm locking this door to keep you both… safe." Mary said.

"What? Do you really not believe in Georgie?" Missy asked sarcastically.

"If Georgie is really possessed by a demon, we should document it for scientific purposes." Sheldon remarked with his usual straight face.

"There's no demon possession, honey. We're just having a conversation with Pastor Jeff." Mary said as she tried to close the door. But Missy's voice stopped her.

"I hope you get what you want… by not trusting My Brother." Missy said coldly.

Mary hesitated, guilt washing over her again. She closed the door and returned to the living room, where Pastor Jeff was still staring unblinkingly at Georgie.

"…I think we shouldn't do this." Mary said softly, looking at Georgie, who stared back at her with a sad expression.

"No, Mom. If this will help you trust me… I'm okay with it." Georgie replied, his voice laced with sorrow.

"Okay, that's enough. Thank you, Pastor Jeff, for coming tonight." George said, firmly motioning for Pastor Jeff to leave.

"But—" Pastor Jeff began, but George cut him off with a steady gaze, showing no intention of backing down.

Georgie smiled as his parents took his side. "Thank you, guys." he said, hugging Mary and looking gratefully at George.

"I'm sorry, Georgie, for not trusting you." Mary whispered, tears in her eyes.

"Pastor Jeff, let me see you to the door." George offered. Mary and Georgie followed.

"I'm sorry for troubling you, Pastor Jeff." Mary said. Pastor Jeff glanced at Georgie but smiled this time. "It's okay, Mary. I'll see you in church this Sunday?"

Mary nodded, smiling back. Both she and George shook hands with Pastor Jeff before heading back inside.

Georgie extended his hand to Pastor Jeff for a handshake as well.

"Sorry for the trouble…" Georgie said with a smile.

Pastor Jeff shook his hand but froze when Georgie's smile widened unnaturally, his eyes fixed on him with an unsettling glare. In a low voice, barely audible to anyone else, Georgie murmured, "You can't get rid of me… servant of God. This is my life now."

Pastor Jeff's face instantly turned pale as the words sank in, each syllable like a mocking taunt.

In a sudden motion, Pastor Jeff shoved Georgie, causing them both to crash to the floor. With Georgie pinned beneath him, Pastor Jeff quickly pulled out a crucifix.

The sound of their fall startled George and Mary, who rushed into them again.

"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!" George shouted at the scene before him: Pastor Jeff on top of Georgie, holding a crucifix.

"PASTOR JEFF!" Mary cried out but stopped abruptly when she heard his solemn voice.

"In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, I invoke the divine authority of God Almighty over this place and command all evil spirits to depart!" Pastor Jeff proclaimed, his tone unwavering.

The commotion drew Sheldon and Missy out of their room. Sheldon, clueless about Georgie's prank, swallowed nervously, while Missy smirked, clearly enjoying the chaos.

"…This is really funny." Missy whispered, watching the spectacle unfold.

"AHHH!" Georgie screamed, writhing on the floor as if in pain. "GET OFF ME, YOU SERVANT OF GOD!" he bellowed, his deep voice echoing dramatically.

George, startled by Georgie's screaming, Unsure of what to do, he looked helplessly at the pastor, who quickly directed him.

"Hold him down!" Pastor Jeff ordered.

"By the power of Jesus Christ, I command you, unclean spirit, to reveal your name and depart from this child of God!" Pastor Jeff declared, his voice rising with authority.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Georgie yelled, thrashing about dramatically. "IT'S BELLZEBUBBA!" he screamed, flailing to escape their grip.

Pastor Jeff registered the name without reacting, assuming it was the demon's name. However, George and Mary froze, the absurdity of 'Bellzebubba' breaking through their concentration.

Sheldon who hadn't read the Bible extensively, furrowed his brow in confusion. He couldn't recall any demon named 'Bellzebubba.' Missy, who had been stifling her laughter from the start, couldn't hold it any longer and burst out laughing.

Pastor Jeff, undeterred, continued his exorcism.

"In the name of Jesus Christ, I bind you, BELLZEBUBBA, and all your minions. You have no power here. Depart from this vessel and return to the darkness from whence you came!" He pressed the crucifix to Georgie's forehead.

Missy's laughter rang out louder, finally catching Pastor Jeff's attention. He paused, his gaze shifting to the rest of the Cooper family.

He saw Sheldon, utterly baffled, staring with a mix of curiosity and disbelief. George stood beside them, his face red with frustration. Mary's face, meanwhile, was painted with embarrassment, as if silently apologizing for the entire situation.

"GEORGIE COOPER, YOU ARE GROUNDED!" George finally roared, his patience snapping.

Still lying on the floor, Georgie looked up at George with a sheepish grin. "Is it over? Aw, man, I thought we'd keep this going all night!"

Georgie glanced at Pastor Jeff and added, "Can you get up? This is a pretty awkward position."

Pastor Jeff, still in shock and disbelief, didn't move. His voice rose in frustration, "WHAT IS GOING ON?!"
