Chapter 9: WSC
In the Wizard Safety Commission, the atmosphere was tense as employees gathered around a series of monitors displaying various scans and readings. They were monitoring the magical energies flowing through the city, but one of the meters suddenly broke again, sending sparks flying across the control panel.
"Shit! Not again! Why is it always this kid?" one of the employees exclaimed in frustration, banging his fist against the desk.
"Which kid?" another employee asked, glancing up from their notes, clearly confused by the outburst.
The first employee turned his head to see a striking figure entering the room. He had black hair, and a beard that resembled a lion's mane, giving him a regal appearance. He wore a long black coat adorned with golden designs, which seemed to shimmer as he moved, and a crisp white shirt underneath. A star-like necklace hung around his neck, drawing attention to his commanding presence.
"Oh, Mr. Leo," the employee said, straightening up, suddenly more respectful. "I didn't see you there. We're just having some… technical difficulties."
Mr. Leo raised an eyebrow, his expression serious. "Technical difficulties? Or is it that this particular 'kid' is causing the disturbances?"
The employee hesitated, not wanting to admit the truth. "Well, it's Hikari To Ai. His magical readings are… unprecedented. We've never seen anything like it before. Every time he tries to summon, the energy spikes off the charts and sometimes… well, our equipment can't handle it."
"So, he's a threat then?" Mr. Leo asked, leaning closer, his curiosity piqued. "Or could he be something more?"
"That's just it, sir." The employee ran a hand through his hair, exasperated. "We don't know. His familiars are unusually powerful, and there's something strange about his aura. It feels like he's somehow connected to something much bigger."
"Interesting." Mr. Leo stroked his beard, his mind racing with possibilities. "We can't overlook him. If he's tapping into forces beyond our understanding, it could pose a significant risk to the balance of our world. But it could also mean he has potential."
"Potential?" the employee echoed, puzzled. "You mean he could become an ally? Or a pawn?"
"Both," Mr. Leo replied, straightening up. "We must keep a close watch on him. Ensure that our instruments are calibrated correctly for the next summoning. I want to see what this kid is truly capable of."
As the employees scrambled to fix the equipment, Mr. Leo turned to the window, staring out at the bustling streets below. "The world is changing, and so are the rules of magic. If Hikari To Ai holds the key to this transformation, then it's imperative that we guide him—before someone else does."
Leo then went to a different Room, as he pulled out his phone and called another number, as he contect with a double agent.
Leo held the phone tightly to his ear, his expression shifting from concern to intrigue as he listened to the voice on the other end.
"So, anything new on your end?" Leo asked, trying to keep his tone professional despite the unsettling nature of the conversation.
"Not much," the voice replied, a gleeful tone lacing every word. "Other than Hikari To Ai. He's changed. I noticed he went from barely able to use a third-level spell to now being able to tap into the seventh tier. Today, he summoned a dragon—a top-tier magical creature! He is different now, Leo! Hahahahahah! This is so fun! I can't wait to fight him!"
"A dragon, you say?" Leo's brow furrowed, the implications of such a summon weighing heavily on his mind. "That's no small feat. He must be drawing on some powerful sources. Have you managed to find out how he's doing this?"
"Oh, I have my ways," the voice chuckled mischievously. "Let's just say he's made some interesting connections, and they're helping him evolve faster than anyone anticipated. But there's more! His emotional detachment—it's fading. He's beginning to feel, to think beyond his previous limitations. It's exhilarating!"
"Exhilarating, or dangerous?" Leo countered, a hint of caution creeping into his tone. "You know how volatile these changes can be. If he starts getting emotional, it could lead to unpredictable behavior. He may become a threat to himself and everyone around him."
"Or an even bigger challenge!" the voice replied, enthusiasm radiating from every word. "Imagine the thrill of battling him when he's at full power! I can't wait to see what else he's capable of! And think about it—if I can manage to be the one who brings him to his knees, my reputation will skyrocket!"
"Just be careful. We don't want to push him too far, too fast. If he snaps—"
"Oh, come on! Where's your sense of adventure?" the voice interrupted, sounding almost offended. "This is exactly what we've been waiting for—a fresh blood in our realm! A new player who might shift the entire balance of power! Let me have my fun, Leo!"
Leo sighed, rubbing his temple. He understood the allure of a new challenge, but he was all too aware of the potential chaos that could erupt from unchecked power. "Fine. Just keep me updated on any further developments. If Hikari shows any signs of going off the rails, I want to know immediately."
"You got it! This is going to be epic! Hikari To Ai will be the highlight of my career!" the voice exclaimed before hanging up, leaving Leo alone with his thoughts.
He stared at the phone, the weight of responsibility heavy on his shoulders. Hikari could very well be the catalyst for a new era, but at what cost? He took a deep breath, his mind racing with possibilities.
"Time to see what you're really made of, kid," he murmured to himself, determination settling in.
Meanwhile in Hikari House as he was looking at Valerion, as they just looked at Eachother
Valerion looked at him. "Your getting better at your emotion, so what is your mindset, you want to save everyone you want to be a hero of Justice"
Hikari scope's at that. "Why should I do that, I don't see the point of wasting my Emotion on people who I don't know or don't care, nor does it matter to me or I feel at all, I don't care about random people and stranger it is a waste of energy"
Valerion just looked at him. "Dark who hurt, do you care about anyone"
Hikari just looked at him. "Yes My Parent's, My sister, My friend MC and Monika, and Yuri and Natsuki".
Valerion just looked at him. "Why are Natsuki and Yuri separate from the other's".
Hikari sighed, contemplating Valerion's question. "It's different with them," he replied slowly, searching for the right words. "Natsuki and Yuri… they're special to me. It's like they understand parts of me that no one else does."
Valerion tilted his head, his eyes gleaming with curiosity. "So, you do have emotions! You care about your friends. That's a start!"
"Yeah, I guess," Hikari muttered, feeling a twinge of annoyance at how easily Valerion could read him. "But it's complicated. I can't just throw myself into saving everyone. It's not like I can make a difference."
"But you can!" Valerion insisted, flapping his tiny wings excitedly. "Every hero starts small. You help one person, then another. It adds up! You're powerful now, and with that power comes responsibility."
Hikari shook his head. "Responsibility? Sounds more like a burden to me. If I get involved, I could end up losing everything."
"But isn't that the point?" Valerion pressed, his expression earnest. "You can protect what you care about. You said you love your family and friends. If you don't stand up for them, who will?"
Hikari looked away, wrestling with his thoughts. "It's easier to keep my distance. If I don't care about the world, then I can't get hurt by it. I'm not cut out to be a hero."
"But maybe you're already on that path," Valerion countered gently. "You summoned me, didn't you? That's a sign that you're ready to take a step forward."
"A step forward into what?" Hikari retorted, crossing his arms. "A world filled with chaos, pain, and suffering? It's a mess out there. Why should I dive into that?"
Valerion fluttered closer, his tiny eyes searching Hikari's face. "Because even in chaos, there's hope. There are people who need you. You may think it's a waste, but what if your actions could change someone's life? What if you could save just one person?"
Hikari felt a flicker of something—a stirring he hadn't allowed himself to acknowledge. "You really believe that, huh?" he asked, his voice softer now.
"Absolutely!" Valerion chirped, beaming. "Every act of kindness, every small victory, it all matters! You have the potential to be a beacon of hope for those around you. Don't underestimate yourself."
Hikari's expression shifted as he processed Valerion's words. "But what if I fail? What if I end up causing more harm than good?"
"Then you learn and grow from it!" Valerion replied, determination radiating from him. "Heroes aren't perfect. They make mistakes, but they keep trying. You won't know what you're capable of until you take that leap."
Hikari looked at Valerion, a swirl of emotions battling within him. "You're really pushing me, aren't you?"
"Of course!" Valerion exclaimed, puffing out his chest proudly. "Someone has to! And if you need a little dragon cheerleader, I'm here for you!"
A reluctant smile tugged at the corners of Hikari's lips. "Alright, little dragon. You win this round. I'll think about it. But I'm not making any promises."
"That's all I ask!" Valerion said, alighting back on Hikari's head. "Just keep an open mind. You never know what opportunities might come your way!"
As Hikari sat back, he felt a newfound sense of resolve flicker within him. Maybe Valerion was right. Perhaps he could make a difference, even in his own small way.
With that thought lingering in his mind, Hikari decided to embrace the journey ahead—one step at a time.

Hikari then looked at Him. "Don't get it twisted, i am not going to be this save everyone wizard king, and spread hope, that is a dream that I don't want, I am not dreamer like MC, i am realist"
Valerion just looked at him. "What is this MC Dream"
Hikari looked at Him. "He wants to be the Wizard king, Spread hope, that is foolish dream"
Valerion then spoke. "Jeez I feel like I was summoned by the wrong Person"
Hikari let a little chuckle out. "If you were MC Familiar is probably as Emotionless and Relestic in mind as me".
