Harry Potter: Elemental Magic Changes the World

Chapter 15: Chapter 15

Harry, Ron, and Hermione's talents were truly outstanding. It was clear that they were destined to be among the main characters, especially Harry, who possessed two elemental energies simultaneously.

Most people could only possess one type of attribute, with only a very small number of individuals able to wield two or more attributes. When learning magic of the same element as their own, it was easier, but learning magic of different elements was much more difficult.

Though some people could learn a wider variety of spells while others had more limited knowledge, it was essential to specialize and refine one's abilities. Magic was about quality, not quantity, and possessing an attribute didn't automatically mean one could control it.

Magical training mainly involved cultivating spiritual power, control, and the ability to sense the magical elements in the air. Spiritual cultivation could be achieved through meditation; the higher one's spiritual power, the more potent their magic would be. Of course, this was all contingent on having enough magical energy.

At that moment, Harry, Ron, and Hermione's magical energy was fluctuating at a level that, in Callister's eyes, already met the standards of an apprentice mage, and they were progressing towards becoming beginner mages.

One could imagine how powerful their talents were. Callister could also envision how Harry would stand out from the other students in the same grade.

The ranks of mages were as follows: Apprentice Mage, Beginner Mage, Intermediate Mage, Senior Mage, Grand Mage, Mage Tutor, Grand Mage Tutor, and Saint Mage Tutor.

Those beyond the Mage Tutor rank were not easily attainable by just anyone.

For someone of Dumbledore's stature, he was already considered one of the best in the wizarding world, but he was still roughly at the level of a Mage Tutor. Perhaps Dumbledore could go even further, becoming even more powerful. However, when it came to combat prowess, some things were hard to measure. But Callister believed that if he were to duel Dumbledore, in the end, it would be Dumbledore who would fall.

This was Callister's confidence.

About half an hour later, Hermione and Ron woke up one after the other, while Harry continued to gather elemental energy.

Upon waking, Hermione and Ron looked at Harry, then around at their surroundings, both filled with surprise, and then fell silent.

Another half hour passed before Harry finally woke up.

By then, all three of them had already reached the strength of a beginner mage.

Callister looked at them with a smile on his face and asked, "How do you feel?"

"It feels amazing! I feel like my whole body is filled with magical energy, stronger than ever before," Harry replied, smiling at Callister.

Callister gave a slight smile and said, "Try to gather the magical energy you feel into the palms of your hands."

Hermione, Ron, and Harry immediately attempted it. With just a thought, they saw a ball of energy appear in the palms of their hands.

"This is the wind element I wanted!" Ron looked at the yellow energy in his palm, his face filled with distaste.

"Hehe, mine is blue! It's the water element I wanted! This is amazing!" Hermione exclaimed, leaping into the air, and the energy in her hand immediately dissipated.

Seeing this, Hermione panicked, unsure of what to do.

"Don't worry. This is a normal phenomenon."

"You've just begun to touch elemental magic. Having such magical fluctuations already shows that your talent is incredibly strong, but you can't control this power yet because your control is still lacking."

"The moment you can control the water ball precisely and have it change form in your hand with your will, that will show that your control has reached a very high level."

As Callister spoke, he summoned a water elemental sphere in his hand, changing its shape continuously. Sometimes it turned into a small person, other times into an apple or banana, and even a small house. The transformations were limitless, shifting effortlessly in his hand.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione's mouths dropped open in shock, followed by a look of eager anticipation.

"Harry, you've mastered both the wind and fire elements, which is extremely rare. Most people can only possess one type of magical element, but you have two. This means your talent and physique are extraordinary. Moreover, the wind strengthens fire, which will make your fire magic even more powerful."

"If you need it, I can provide special training for you," Callister said, looking at Harry with a smile.

Harry, hearing Callister's words, paused for a moment, then smiled with delight and said, "I'd be more than happy, Professor Callister."

Callister nodded and then turned to Ron, saying, "Ron, while you've mastered the earth element, don't underestimate it. Earth magic has above-average offensive power, but its defensive strength is extraordinary. It's one of the best defensive magics."

"Among the three of you, Hermione's water magic has average defense, but her offensive power shouldn't be underestimated. She also possesses healing and recovery abilities. In battle, having a mage with such abilities by your side means your injuries will heal quickly, and you won't have to endure the pain."

Harry's fire element is a powerful offensive tool, with a weaker defense. However, with the wind element, the fire's attacks can become more unpredictable and harder to defend against, making Harry an essential offensive force.

"Once you have healing and offensive capabilities, your earth magic will serve as the best protection for your companions. It can block many attacks. Don't forget, the earth element also has considerable destructive power."

Callister's words of encouragement quickly got Ron excited.

So, his strength was also crucial.

"Elemental magic is a marvelous form of magic. Not only is it useful in battle, but it also has surprising effects when it comes to brewing potions."

"As you gain better control over your magical energy, it will help you master potion ingredient proportions more effectively."

"Of course, if any of you are interested in potion-making, I can teach you."

Harry's eyes lit up upon hearing Callister's words, and he eagerly responded, "Really?"

"Of course. I'll make sure you won't be disappointed," Callister laughed.

He then added, "But before that, you'll need to learn some theoretical knowledge first."

"It's getting late now. You should head back; otherwise, if you're caught, Gryffindor will lose points."

"Professor Callister, can we come back tomorrow night to learn from you?" Harry asked eagerly.

Hermione and Ron also looked at Callister with anticipation.

"Of course. If you're interested, you can come and find me," Callister smiled.

"Perhaps I can teach you how to control elemental energy."

Harry, Ron, and Hermione left, their hearts full of excitement.

Callister watched them leave with a smile, then turned to look beside him and asked, "Aren't you coming in for a seat?"
