Isekai: The Eight Soul Fragments

"The Prime Existence is on the attack?" Cronus was surprised by the report from the [People of Earth], as he has somewhat expected it but was not sure if whether he would actually commit to it. "Well this is a surprise, can we perhaps get him right here? Or if we can't, we could just awaken one of his souls again." Cronus returned to his composed look as he looked behind him. Mnemosyne and Iapetus nodded behind him, prepared to enter battle against Draxus who had raided the Aquila castle. "Iapetus, Lawrence, get prepared, target his fiancés and get the soul to possess him." As Cronus provided his orders, he noticed below that there is now a giant boundary above the entire city of Aquila. "That power..." The three council members were shocked by the power Draxus is now holding. "He's... He's growing too fast... We have to make our move soon." Cronus looked at the full boundary, somewhat in awe and fear with what Draxus is now capable of. 

"As long as we get a soul to rampage, it is successful in slowing down his growth. The [God of Equivalence]'s plan of getting the negative energy that remained to be cleansed out was not what I had anticipated from killing the souls. To think that they could potentially find a way to resurrect the complete Prime Existence... Using just the negative energy..." Cronus was somewhat panicked with the information control between them. "I have to report the situation to the God. In the meantime, do what you both can, Iapetus, and Mnemosyne." Cronus left after cutting what seems to be a black and white dimensional portal and entered it before it disappeared.

"Draxus really likes to do things in the most flashy way possible." Remuel watched the entire battle unfold in the distance. He stayed away simply to watch everything unfold for his own entertainment. He smiled as he watched a giant ice dome cover the entire city, preventing everyone from performing any escape. He felt a powerful presence approach him, but he wasn't fazed in any way. "Remuel, did Draxus already start?" Arlesk joined Remuel as they watched everything unfold from the distance.

The two of them brought out snacks and drinks which are now suspended in the air as they had been munching on them. Their purpose isn't actually to simply witness everything, they are around to have Arlesk's drones to record everything for the others to watch on the operation. Mainly to allow Olivia and Abigail who is back in the operation room of the [Hall of Sentinels] to give out orders and warnings to the other groups. "Oh? We have an MDB at the castle. Looks like I'm gonna have to make use of the other drones now." Arlesk unleashed more drones from his [Interdimensional Storage]. "Good thing we have ones that operate on pure batteries. Though if they get destroyed they're kinda expensive." Arlesk kept his watch towards the drones that are now flying towards the castle. 

Just as the two continued their conversation about what will happen, they noticed three powerful beings approaching the city dome. "I guess that's my queue?" Arlesk smiled as Remuel finally prepared himself for combat. "Yeah, make sure to alleviate the possible threats here." Remuel left to greet the enemies that will be moving to attack Draxus. "Now then, Draxus hasn't really foreseen the arrival of so many apostles, so hopefully Remuel will thin them out for a bit." Arlesk continued operating the drones as he watched Remuel go towards the capital city.

Remuel stood at the top of the ice dome Draxus had created, waiting for his targets to arrive.

"Tch, so they even had a plan against our intervention?" Iapetus clicked his tongue as he spotted Remuel. He was with a large group, accompanied by Mnemosyne and Crius, Unknown who was accompanied by two more Harbingers, and then Wrath, the strongest devil below Magna, was accompanied by two more of the devil apostles. "Greetings! Such a beautiful reception comes to greet Draxus down in the castle for his revolution. But this is where all of you will stop." "Remuel Baphomet! Do you think you can handle all of us here?!" "Well who knows, but I'm not here to get rid of all of you. I just need to stall until Serkryio arrives. I have plenty of time to play around." Remuel talked smugly as he wanted to bluff the enemies of Serkyrio's movement. Iapetus thought about it for moments, before realizing that he might be wasting time and attacked Remuel as they are on a time limit.

Remuel, having known most of Iapetus' abilities by that point, easily avoided the spear and tried to counterattack immediately with his scythe. It was easily avoided as he had to hold back to dodge attacks from Unknown and Wrath. "[Fog of Conquest]!" Remuel covered the area with a white fog, instantly clogging the vision of all of the enemies around. "Let the fun begin... I'll make sure to enjoy every bit of battle here." Iapetus was impatient, as he instantly had Unknown break open on the roof of the dome to enter the castle. He instantly escaped into the dome with Mnemosyne, Unknown, and Wrath.

"Hmph... Four of them got in huh?" Remuel huffed as he never expected a breakthrough instead of entertaining him. But seeing as Crius remained along with two harbingers and two devils, he was satisfied that he held back around half of the enemy group.

Back in the operation room of the Preeliance castle, Olivia was looking through the monitors along with Abigail.

"So far the operation seems to be going through smoothly. Wesley has already taken action on two towns. Considering that there are more than thirty towns in Aquila, he is doing this at a good pace." Abigail summarized what was happening around the [Hunt] group. Olivia nodded as she instantly understood that everything will be fine for them for the time being. She then received a report from Keith. "We're now going to be engaging, please monitor for developments HQ." Since Olivia and Abigail are working on the operation room, they are called HQ during missions. "Got it, prepare to intercept attackers, you have a group of nobles on the way. Their identities include as such." Olivia started naming each noble that is planning to escape, seeing as they are all in the list of targets, she gave orders to eliminate those who resist and spare those who are prepared to die without resistance. "Eastern gate, operatives are headed your way, prepare for a tough battle." Olivia was monitoring everything like a true strategist. It made Abigail feel in awe with how fast she's able to process the information. "As expected of our representative huh...?" "Livi, Abby, there's an MDB on the castle, communication will be limited from me during the mission, go at your own discretions." They received information from Draxus of an MDB setup, which made them a bit worried. "Considering only the castle is covered, it may be on the four towers on the corners of the castle walls." "Got it, I'll send someone to go for them." Olivia looked behind her as Gilbert, Justin, Mitch, and Jay understood that they're now going to be dispatched. "Abigail, can you open a rift towards the northern gate?" "Alright." Abigail nodded and activated a rift copying Draxus' concepts. "Everyone, the targets are the MDB consoles in the four towers of Aquila's castle, there may be defenders on each one, but I know all of you can handle it." The four of them were ready as they prepared their weapons and immediately entered the rift to just outside the northern gate.
