The man was amused, he smiled and responded gently.

"Go home little lamb, you're just a plain unkept lady. It would be shameful to actually be dating you, don't you think?"

Carlos was too blunt that the girl was shocked. "I'm not classy?"

He seem to size her up and down and then, he shook his head. "It would indeed be a disappointment to sign a contract with you."

The girl was suddenly enraged.

"You should not look down on me, you don't actually know me that well. Although I'm from a respected family, I can be attractive. Do you really know how many men are searching for me?"

Carlos laughed.

However he remained adamant. "You're quite interesting, but I still stand by my words. Go home little lamb now that the dangerous tiger is willing to let you go."

He turned, and left. She couldn't stop him. She sullenly watched as he entered his expensive vehicle and he was driven off by the bodyguards that had escorted the famed Jennifer Lawrence away. In fact, who in his right mind would see a beauty like Jennifer Lawrence and actually reject her? She's a popular artist that men would die to be in a relationship with and this man had simply just ended their relationship without a care in the world. What a ruthless man.

This girl is called Annabel Liam. She lived in a small town with her parents. But because of the idea that her best friend, Trisha had initiated to Anna's parents they were willing to let Anna go into the city and explore.

The main reason for her parents worry is Anna's illness. She did not have much time to live on earth. She just had like seven months.

The ailment is actually what had caused Anna to be fatherless, so currently her mother, her grand parents were all here to take care of her.

If Anna had actually been healthy, she wouldn't have brazenly sought that handsome but frightening young man to become his contracted girlfriend.

Anna just had one wish and that wish is to fall in love. Even if he does not do love, she would have to experience falling in love, especially when the man would not love her back.

As long as she doesn't expect his love. As long as she doesn't tell him to love her back, the relationship can continue.

What actually prevented her from entering any relationship is because of her ailment. Anna is a very beautiful young girl and men had actually confessed to her but she had politely rejected them. She did not want these men go through the heart break of losing something that they loved the most, just like her mom lost her dad.

Sometimes, to hide her beauty she intentionally dressed haggardly to chase away boys and it had worked.

Today is actually an exception because, she was supposed to meet Trisha in this fancy hotel not until she met this dangerously handsome man.

She did not relent, she desperately wanted to be with a man as hard headed as he is. Someone that would never love her— she has finally found her dream man!

Anna immediately moved into the hotel to find Trisha. When she did find her, Trisha was furious.

"You're supposed to he here three hours ago. I saw you from the hotel camera. Why on earth would you delay?"

Anna shook her head and smiled.

"I actually saw this, tall handsome and breathtaking young man. I mean, he's actually the type of man I've been searching for all my life. I want to be his girlfriend. I met him and told him, but he actually rejected me."

Trisha was shocked.

Anna is actually someone that would not speak so highly of the Male gender. In fact, she clearly avoids them. And now all of a sudden, she's praising a man and telling of how perfect he is.

Trisha forgot her anger and placed a hand on Anna's body, as if implying that she was sick.

Anna pushed her hand away and said: "I'm serious this time Trisha, you have to help me."

Trisha sighed, really excited. She said:

"I've never seen you being so serious about the opposite gender before, so I'll help you. I'm excited too, I want to see what your type of man look like."

Trisha actually wanted Anna to come because, she had been planning to pair Anna with a guy, but suddenly hearing Anna's story, she was extremely happy.

"First of all, let's make you look your absolute best."

Two hours later, both Trisha and Anna arrived at Trisha's house. Trisha is from a wealthy home and since Trisha had convinced Anna's parents to allow Anna come to the city, it is apparent for Anna to actually live with Trisha.

Anna took her bath, applied creams, body lotion, hair conditioner and body perfumes, Plumés dè plúm. After that, she applied make up, face pomade, lipstick, eyeliner and so on. It took complete three hours to dress Anna up to look like a pretty angel, she was even putting on a short pretty silver dress and Anna accessed herself in the mirror.

Trisha was excited.

"What next, call him? Text him? Do you have his number? Is he someone popular?"

Anna rolled her eyes and said: "I told you earlier that I asked him out and he bluntly rejected me. It actually sucks to be rejected. Someone who rejected me would not still give me his numbers, and for his popularity, I don't know about that!?"

Trisha face palmed and asked:

"What do you actually plan to do with all these makeup on? Just sit down?"

Trisha thought for a while and said:

"You know what, stay put. All these makeup won't go in vain, there's an extravagant party that I was invited to by Mr Lopez, the CEO of Tech Support company, he just bagged a contract worth trillions of dollars and wants to celebrate. You are coming with me..."

Anna rolled her eyes.

"I think I have lost the interest. I want to take off these makeup, they are so heavy on me."

Trisha glared at Anna. "I know you don't like parties, but you have to bear with me just for one night. At least, you have one last time to have fun before entering that relationship you spoke of."

Anna knew that she could not argue, so she prepared her mind for a stressful evening today.

Later that night, Trisha booked an Uber that drove them both to the venue of the party.
