One Piece: Take the Uchiha Clan to the Grand Line

Chapter 189: Can't Provoke the Uchiha Clan

-----

Uchiha Kitaro smirked at the group before him and casually turned to leave.

He wasn't bluffing—every word he said was true. Kitaro might have been the strongest in the Uchiha clan, but the most terrifying member wasn't him—it was Shisui Uchiha, If Uchiha Madara wasn't counted.

Shisui's Mangekyō Sharingan ability, Kotoamatsukami, was the most powerful genjutsu, capable of altering someone's will completely and permanently without them even realizing it.

In other words, Shisui could make someone his puppet, and they wouldn't even know it.

In some ways, it was similar to Kitaro's horrible Mangekyō Sharingan ability, although with an obvious, more insidious twist. But Shisui was having the power to make anyone his slave for a long time.

Boom!

"That brat! How dare he threaten us?!"

The sound of splintering wood filled the room as Topman Warcury, the short-tempered Legal God of War, slammed his fist into the table, reducing it to fragments.

The other five elders wore grim expressions.

Although Kitaro had spoken in a polite tone, the underlying message was unmistakable—a threat, plain and simple.

For people like them, the Five Elders—the pinnacle of global authority—being threatened by an 18-year-old was a bitter pill to swallow. Worse, there was little they could do about it.

"That punk! He's just riding on Uchiha Kitaro's coattails, acting all high and mighty!" one of them snarled.

Figarland Garling, the Saint of Figarland, spoke in a grave tone. "It's not just that. He's confident in his own power. His eyes—those must be the Mangekyō Sharingan unique to their clan."

"It's said that unlocking the Mangekyō allows them to summon that massive warrior called Susanoo. Its defenses are nearly unbreakable, and that's likely what gives him the courage to stand before us."

Garling's knowledge of the Uchiha was good for one piece world native, much of it coming directly from none other than Kitaro's twin brother, Akira.

Jaygarcia Saturn asked, "Garling, do you seriously want that brat to join the Holy Knights? You'd even let him marry into the Figarland family?"

"Of course. Don't you see? The power of the Uchiha clan should belong to the Celestial Dragons. If they marry in, their bloodline becomes ours, and their children will be Celestial Dragons."

The room fell silent as the elders considered the proposition.

Marcus Mars Saint, the Environmental God of War, finally spoke. "Indeed, their power is extraordinary. It's as though they were born with Devil Fruit abilities—or rather, powers far superior to Devil Fruits."

"They wield fire, wind, water, earth, and lightning as naturally as breathing," he continued. "Not to mention their abilities for teleportation, clones, flight, and the devastating spherical energy techniques used by Akira. It's like they're a walking arsenal of Devil Fruits."

Shepherd Ju Peter, the Agricultural God of War, nodded. "Every member of their clan is proficient in Haki. If what Akira said is true, they have over ten users of Conqueror's Haki. That's terrifying for any one group."

Ethanbaron V Nusjuro, the Financial God of War, added, "And their swordsmanship is remarkable. Every Uchiha encountered so far has demonstrated extraordinary skill. They're likely copying techniques with those Sharingan eyes, allowing them to master swordsmanship at an alarming rate."

Finally, Jaygarcia Saturn concluded darkly, "But the most frightening thing is their eyes. Those eyes... harbor the power of gods."

Even though they had listed out the Uchiha's terrifying abilities, what truly unnerved them was Uchiha's demonstration of Susanoo, that colossal warrior.

Even the Five Elders, some of the world's strongest fighters, didn't think they could break through its defenses easily. Who could guarantee they'd succeed against Kitaro's Susanoo?

Worse, Kitaro had shown restraint. If he'd gone all out and then fled, the consequences would have been catastrophic.

Now was not the time to provoke the Uchiha clan directly.

"Send people to capture one of the Uchiha," one elder suggested. "We need Vegapunk to extract their lineage factor. If we can create a weapon even stronger than the Seraphim..."

"Why not start with Akira?" another asked. "He's Kitaro's twin. His genetic data would be almost identical."

"But what if he doesn't cooperate?"

"Then we'll make him cooperate. It's best to pursue both approaches to ensure success."

While the elders schemed in Pangaea Castle, Kitaro (Akira), Fujitora, and Ryokugyu were leaving the premises.

"Akira," Ryokugyu sneered, "you just threw away a golden opportunity to rise to the top! You're such an idiot!"

If it had been him, he'd have jumped at the chance to become a Celestial Dragon. He'd have been ecstatic! Yet this guy Akira had rejected it so casually—what kind of fool did that?

Kitaro gave Ryokugyu a disdainful look. "Don't project your shallow worldview onto me. You might worship the Celestial Dragons as gods, but to me, they're no different from anyone else."

"They're born with weak, fragile bodies and no special abilities. Why do you think they're so eager for me to marry in? They covet the power of the Uchiha clan."

"We are the ones who are truly divine."

"You... you... You're insane!" Ryokugyu fumed, pointing a trembling finger at him.

"Let's not waste time arguing. You're free to kiss their asses if that's what you like. But don't drag me into it. Honestly, it's pathetic that someone like you can call yourself an admiral. The title's value has dropped so much."

With that, Kitaro flew off toward Marine Headquarters without another word.

Ryokugyu turned to Fujitora, expecting some support, but the ground cracked beneath Fujitora's feet as he lifted himself into the air, following Kitaro without sparing Ryokugyu a glance.

Ryokugyu's face twisted in fury. "Fine! Go ahead and look down on me! One day, I'll make you regret it!"

As he grumbled, a yellow flower bloomed from his back, lifting him into the air as he reluctantly followed the others back to headquarters.
