One Piece: Take the Uchiha Clan to the Grand Line

Chapter 190: Admiral 'White Dragon'

------

At Marineford, the bustling center of naval power, whispers filled the air.

"Hey, did you hear? The Marines are about to add a fourth Admiral to the lineup!"

"Yeah, I heard. Apparently, Fleet Admiral Sakazuki decided to do it to strengthen our forces against the increasing global threats. It's a smart move, really. The pirates are running wild out there, and their power keeps growing. But... I heard there's more to this than just strategy."

"Let me guess—it's because Sakazuki's trying to push someone from his camp into the Admiral rank, right? Promoting Aramaki to Admiral even though some think he doesn't deserve it?"

"Well, that's one way of looking at it. A lot of us saw the recent Admiral Selection Battle. In the end, it was Vice Admirals Uchiha Akira and Issho who came out on top. But then, seeing one of the losers get the same rank as them? That's bound to leave some people grumbling."

"Shh! Keep your voice down! Talking about stuff like this can get you in serious trouble."

Fourteen days had passed since Kitaro's trip to Pangaea Castle. Marines from all over had gathered back at Marineford for the grand Admiral promotion ceremony. The plaza was packed with officers and soldiers, all seated neatly in rows, awaiting the event's start.

At the podium, Marine Captain Brannew spoke loudly and clearly:

"Let's welcome our new Fourth Admiral—Admiral Aramaki!"

The large gates at the back of the plaza creaked open with a dramatic flair. Aramaki—better known as Ryokugyu—appeared with a blooming yellow flower sprouting from his back, gliding down the red carpet toward the stage.

The crowd stirred.

"So that's Vice Admiral Aramaki?"

"Whoa, he can fly? That's impressive!"

"Wait... a Fourth Admiral? Since when do Admirals have ranks like this? Aren't they supposed to be equals?"

Brannew continued his speech:

"A year ago, through the World Conscription Initiative, Aramaki joined the Navy. Since then, he's shown exceptional dedication, capturing countless pirates and striking fear into their hearts. By the approval of the Five Elders, he is hereby promoted to Admiral and granted the codename: Ryokugyu!"

Applause erupted, and Ryokugyu basked in the moment, feeling vindicated.

"Laugh all you want," he thought smugly. "I've made it to the top. Being a Celestial Dragon's lapdog paid off, didn't it?"

Brannew's voice rose again:

"Now, let us welcome the new Third Admiral—Admiral Issho!"

The gates opened once more. This time, a massive boulder floated into the air, carrying Issho—better known as Fujitora—seated cross-legged atop it. He calmly descended toward the stage.

The crowd was abuzz again.

"So that's Admiral Issho?!"

"Another flyer? Is flying a requirement to be an Admiral now? And man, his presence is even more overwhelming than Ryokugyu's!"

"Well, he's the Third Admiral, so he's obviously stronger than the Fourth. Makes sense."

Ryokugyu scowled, feeling his moment of glory stolen by Fujitora's grand entrance.

Brannew resumed:

"Admiral Issho also joined us a year ago through World Conscription. Before that, he was an unassuming yet extraordinary swordsman, living quietly among the common people. But with the rise of the Pirate Era, he stepped forward to protect the innocent. For his unparalleled dedication and strength, he is promoted to Admiral with the codename: Fujitora!"

The applause for Fujitora was even louder than for Ryokugyu, making the latter's face darken further.

"And finally," Brannew announced, his voice swelling with excitement, "our new First Admiral—Admiral Uchiha Akira!"

"First Admiral?! Not second?!"

"Does that mean Admiral Kizaru's been bumped down to Second?"

"So Uchiha Akira is ranked above the legendary Kizaru?! That's insane!"

"Well, it's no surprise. The Uchihas are practically gods. And Akira is the twin brother of the strongest man alive, Uchiha Kitaro. His strength must be off the charts!"

"I heard from someone who watched the Admiral Selection Battle that Akira completely crushed Ryokugyu and even made Fujitora admit defeat."

The plaza gates creaked open again. This time, however, there was no one at the entrance.

"Where is he?"

"Did he decide not to show up?"

As the murmurs grew louder, a sudden shadow loomed over the plaza. Everyone instinctively looked up—and froze in shock.

A massive cloud had appeared above Marineford, and from its depths, an enormous face emerged, staring down at the crowd like a god gazing upon mortals. Slowly, the figure descended, its sheer size dwarfing the entire plaza. It was their Akira (Kitaro), his presence as colossal as his Susanoo form.

The entire plaza fell silent. The spectacle left even seasoned Marines utterly speechless.

Ryokugyu clenched his fists, his face twisted with envy and rage. First, Fujitora had overshadowed him, and now Akira had utterly obliterated his moment of triumph.

"This is ridiculous," Ryokugyu seethed. "Flying's one thing, but this... this is just overkill."

Brannew, snapping out of his daze, exclaimed with renewed vigor:

"Admiral Uchiha Akira joined the Navy through World Conscription as well! As you all know, he is the twin brother of the legendary Uchiha Kitaro, the strongest man alive. But unlike his brother, Admiral Akira chose the path of justice, turning his back on darkness and embracing the light!

"During his time in the Navy, Admiral Akira has captured the legendary pirate Golden Lion Shiki, a rival of Roger and Whitebeard, and eradicated 5,000 pirates!

"In the Admiral Selection Battle, he claimed victory with overwhelming strength!

"He is hereby promoted to Admiral with the codename: White Dragon!"

The crowd erupted into thunderous applause. Kitaro stood tall, loving the scene, as his codename reverberated through Marineford: White Dragon.
