The Adaptive Quincy of Bleach

Chapter 2: Quincy power (2)

Ryuken knew the second that he had laid eyes on the boy, no matter how hard he tries, the boy would have been forced to face the supernatural.

The boy's spiritual power was close to that of.....a captain.

Yet he was only a small child. It felt like this child was birthed like this, blessed by Reishi. And unless he wanted to be supervised by shinigami more than he already was, he needed to teach this child control.

He had felt the boy's spiritual pressure all the way from where he was, surprisingly it seemed to oddly stay still.

Ryuken however managed to calm himself down, he managed to put on a cold face.

His cold gaze bore down on Sora, who clutched the sword of Reishi in his hand.

The boy beamed with pride, he looked like he was holding the most precious treasure on the planet.

The man crossed his arms, his sharp features etched with disapproval.

"Put it away," Ryuken ordered. His voice was low, devoid of emotion, but there was no mistaking the authority in his tone.

Sora wondered why, he blinked multiple times, his earlier excitement morphing into confusion.

"But... I just made it! Isn't this what Quincy do? I—" He said timidly, he did not get to finish his sentence.

"Now," Ryuken interrupted.

The voice of the man sounded rather cold.

Sora being the obedient child he was, decided to listen to his elder and put the weapon away.

"What do you know about being a Quincy, you are just a Gemischt" The man's voice sounded rather cold.

However, Sora was not put down.

"I want to make my mother proud...she was going to teach me before she died... I don't want to feel weak again"

The man's brow furrowed a bit, something clicked in his mind.

"How could you have possibly survived if your mother could not"

Sora looked down a bit before saying.

"I don't know, the light came...and when the light was gone...mom was dead."

Something clicked in Ryuken mind when he found the boy....the wheels, those same wheels could be seen, and from the look of it, they had just spun.

So this was why the boy Reiatsu felt like this...

Apart from his son, no other half-blood Quincy had survived, and apparently, this one survived with a little gift.

The man gave him a cold expression before telling him to not practice any quincy-related technique while he was in the house.

The name that was Quincy was dead, and no one in this house shall practice anything related to it.

"But why did you bother letting me read about Quincy's history?"

"Your mother would have wanted you to know about it, consider this her last wish"

The boy felt hollow, he wanted to learn more, the fire in his eyes burned brighter than any sun.

"Now dismiss this wheel and clean this room," The man said coldly.

"Yes...mister Ryuken" The boy added looking down.

The man glanced at the boy one last time before leaving the room, this was for the better.

Sora wondered how the man found him, he made sure to be sneaky....it then hit him, and maybe some of his Reiatsu leaked.

He needed to get it under control.

*Click*

Ryuken stopped midway through arriving at his chamber....the boy Reiatsu's level, it was decreasing, and not like he was critically injured and was dying and that was why it was decreasing or anything.

But more like he was gaining control over it, eventually, the boy Reiatsu reached about the same level as a spiritually aware human.

He internally groaned a bit, he knew this would happen eventually, but he did not expect it to happen so fast.

Back to Sora, he was giddy, now, his training could go uninterrupted.

He got used to the feeling of suppressing his spiritual pressure and as the wheel vanished and the adaption went with it, Sora still retained the muscle memory of everything he had adapted to.

It was like muscle memory.

In about 2 hours, give or take, he was able to replicate what he could do with the wheel, he could now make stuff out of reishi.

Swords, shields, bows, arrows, you name it and he was making it out of Reishi, he found manipulating Reishi fun, as long as he kept an eye out for the big meany.{Ryuken}

He should be able to get better with all his skills.

Taking in a deep breath, he wonders what stuff he should learn.

Learning by himself was fun and all, but he could always sneak around and go to the Ishida family library and take a peek at what kind of technique they might have.

He just wanted to borrow them....for research purposes...

This was his alibi if he got caught, he just wanted to look through some books.

It shouldn't be that hard to take a peek at some books' rights.

After all, books were meant to be read, so he was sure he was fine.

He was Sora, after all; his name basically meant heaven or sky, depending on the person or situation. His sneakiness was not bound to this world.
