Chapter 14: GOD MODE

"You guys ready?" Everstay asked, his voice steady as he glanced at his team. They nodded, preparing for the challenge ahead, but Sparrow interrupted.

"Releasing the water into the crack... doesn't that give the hixars a chance to attack us?" Sparrow asked, pointing to the vast sea of hixars waiting for any opportunity to strike.

Everstay met his gaze. "Well... then we fight them all," Grayworm said confidently, his grip tightening around his weapon.

Somi, however, looked concerned. "If we are going to fight, we may have to stall for a while to let our life points refill. Fighting Torrak drained us" ___recovering takes almost an hour."

"Yeah, but we can't afford to wait any longer," Everstay replied, his voice urgent. "It's getting late, and we still have one more mission in the forest."

"Another mission?" sparrow asked, raising an eyebrow.

"You guys didn't know?" Everstay's expression softened slightly as he scratched his head. "I guess I forgot to mention it."

Omega, who had been silent up until now, shook his head, his lips curling into a knowing smile. "Why am I not surprised?"

Fans watching the livestream chuckled, appreciating Everstay's charming clumsiness despite his leadership skills. It was part of his charm.

"Although, they haven't told me what the mission is yet. They just said there's another mission after this ond," Everstay continued, explaining to the team.

They nodded in understanding, then turned their focus back to the barrel. "I only have three health packs," Everstay said, his voice calm but decisive. "I'll need one since I'm going into the water. Omega and Somi, you two can have the remaining packs to fight the hixars directly. Sparrow and Grayworm, you'll be stationed near the cave, supporting us with arrows. I'll dive into the water and retrieve the mission quest once the crack fills."

The team nodded in unison, their resolve firm. The crowd watching the event roared in approval, their energy rippling through the atmosphere.

Somi hesitated, her gaze flickering nervously toward the still-recovering Torrak. "What if the Torrak wakes up before you're done?"

"Then you run straight to the cave," Everstay replied without hesitation. "Moreover I don't think Torrak came after us; we were just in its way."

The tension mounted as Everstay turned toward the barrel. With a single punch, he shattered it, sending water gushing out. The crack began to fill as the sound of rushing water echoed through the air.

Just as the water poured out, the Torrak stirred, slowly regaining consciousness. Everstay's eyes immediately locked onto the giant creature, its massive form beginning to rise.

"Guys, run!" Everstay commanded, his voice sharp. "Run! Now!"

Somi and Omega, already ahead, sped toward the cave, passing the Torrak with every ounce of urgency. "What about you?" Somi shouted over her shoulder as she sprinted.

"I just need a little more time," Everstay answered, his tone unwavering as he gripped his sword. "I'll hold them off."

As his teammates ran, Everstay turned back to face the hixars, who had begun charging across the dry land left by the rising water. He readied himself for the battle that was about to unfold.

The Torrak, now fully awake, turned its eyes toward him. Everstay knew the battle was far from over, but he refused to back down. His grip on his sword tightened as the creature charged toward him.

The fans watching were on edge, their breaths held in collective anticipation. Some were already shedding tears, unable to imagine a world without Everstay. His teammates, especially Somi, stared at him with worry as they continued their sprint toward the cave.

The hixars closed in, and Everstay engaged them head-on, slicing through the monstrous creatures with swift and calculated strikes. His teammates—Sparrow and Grayworm—fired arrows from their vantage point, supporting him from afar. The bond between them was palpable, each strike a testament to their unity and determination. The crowd watched, hearts racing, as Everstay fought with everything he had, knowing his life was on the line.

Just as the Torrak lunged for him, Everstay's eyes glowed with a fierce light. With a roar, he raised his hands high into the air, calling upon the energy within him. The ground beneath him trembled as a powerful shockwave erupted from his body. The force sent hixars flying through the air, their bodies disintegrating in the wind, even the Torrak, was shaken, but remained standing.

The Torrak screeched, furious, as part of its thick hide was torn away by the blast. It staggered back, its massive form shuddering. But it was still alive—and it was coming for Everstay.

The crowd watched in silence, their eyes fixed on the screen, As Everstay stood in the midst of the chaos, his hands still glowing white from the raw power he had unleashed, the ground around him trembled. The remaining Hixars, already weakened by his earlier assault, scrambled desperately to stay on their feet, but it was clear that their time was running out. Everstay's aura radiated with a divine energy that seemed almost otherworldly, unlike anything the game had ever shown before.

The commentator's voice, tinged with disbelief, echoed across the arena, capturing the attention of the fans and players alike.

"This... This is unprecedented! Ladies and gentlemen, we are witnessing history in the making! The leader of the Dragon Clan, Everstay, has activated a mode that no player has ever seen before! A power previously thought to be mere legend—God Power Mode! This mode has never been displayed in Avatar Epic Quest's history. No one has ever dared to unlock this level of strength! And what's more astounding? Everstay's energy has completely obliterated over half of the Hixars in a single strike!"

The crowd exploded into a frenzy, cheering so loudly that it almost drowned out the commentator's voice. Fans were stunned, some shouting in pure awe, while others simply stared, unable to process the magnitude of what they had just witnessed. It was as if they had been transported into a new dimension of the game, one where the boundaries of power were no longer defined.

A flood of comments started pouring in on the screen, each message more frantic than the last.

"This is insane! Is this real?!"

"Never thought I'd see this in my lifetime!"

"God Power Mode? This is huge!"

"I can't believe Everstay has broken the game!"

Everstay, his chest heaving from the sheer exertion, looked around. The Hixars were no longer the threat they had once been. Most of them were incapacitated or lying motionless on the ground, their life points barely above zero. His hands, still glowing with that bright white energy, gradually began to dim. But despite the overwhelming power he had just unleashed, Everstay's expression was one of shock.

He feeling a mix of amazement and confusion. His heart raced, both from the adrenaline of the fight and from the realization that something had triggered this incredible transformation.

His teammates, still reeling from the aftermath, began to rally behind him. Sparrow, wide-eyed and grinning, gave a thumbs-up to Everstay, his voice filled with excitement.

"That was so cool, Cap!" he exclaimed. "I thought you were gonna leave us behind, but that? That was on a whole new level!"

Everstay cracked a grin, still catching his breath, before he nodded towards the remaining Hixars. "Alright, guys," he said, his voice steady despite the chaos around them, "I'm diving in now. I'll handle the rest. You guys keep the pressure on...." suddenly he paused "stacy...." he stoped on his track

"stacy? Who is that?" somi asked but recieve complete silence "Everstay" she called as she noticed some thing odds about him "Everstay" she called again.
