Chapter 25: Wapol's Return

"That reindeer is actually a doctor. Who would've thought?" Usopp remarked, watching in amazement as Chopper carefully tended to Nami.

"Your friend is really lucky. Just a few more days and she'd be a goner," Kureha said, her tone grave.

"Say, what even is this disease anyway?" Sanji asked, his brow furrowed with concern.

"Oh, you didn't even know. She has what's called Five-days disease, and as the name implies, after five days, the victim dies. The disease is carried by a rare form of tick that should be extinct by now," Kureha explained.

"Maybe she got it out in Little Garden. There are many prehistoric creatures there and all," Vivi remarked, her voice tinged with worry.

"Well, you don't have to worry about that now. I guarantee you that your friend here will be all better in just three days," Kureha assured them. The Straw Hats were filled with relief, knowing Nami would recover. Vivi stayed close to Nami, while the others went out to explore the castle.

"That reindeer is really something, and he's a doctor too," Luffy said as they walked through the castle halls.

"Maybe you should invite him to join your crew," Lucas suggested.

"Yeah, then we won't have to worry about being sick anymore," Luffy said, raising his hands in excitement.

As Nami's condition gradually improved, Luffy was busy bugging Chopper, asking him to join the Straw Hats. Despite the kindness of the crew, Chopper felt a little reluctant to leave, still somewhat reserved.

"Sanji! I'm getting hungry!" Luffy ranted, his voice echoing through the castle.

"Hmm, what's that sound?" Lucas suddenly turned, looking outside the castle.

"What's up?" Usopp asked, curiosity piqued.

"Those guys we met are outside for some reason," Lucas said, his tone cautious.

"Those guys again! What is it now?" Luffy remarked, irritation clear in his voice.

"You think they're here for revenge?" Usopp said, his voice shaking with fear.

Chopper looked through the window to see who they were talking about. As he took a peek, he saw Wapol and his men nearing the castle. The unpleasant memories rushed back, causing him to clench his fists and pull on the curtain.

"It's Wapol," he said, notifying Kureha.

"Uh, Wapol, you say? That bastard should have stayed in the sea," Kureha remarked, her voice dripping with disdain.

"Wait, do you know that guy?" Usopp asked, his eyes wide with surprise.

"Chh, that guy never lets up, does he?" Sanji said, taking a puff from his cigarette.

"This time, I'll give him a piece of my mind," Luffy declared, his determination unwavering as he, Lucas, and Sanji headed down to confront Wapol and his men.

"Wait, I'm coming too," Chopper said, following them down.

"Huh... Okay," the others agreed, surprised but accepting.

As the four of them made their way outside the castle, Luffy turned to Chopper with a grin. "Does this mean you'll join our crew?" he asked excitedly.

"Wha... What? I never said that," Chopper replied, flustered.

"No! No take backsies. You're now a new member of our pirate crew," Luffy said, his smile widening.

"I'm looking forward to our journey together," Lucas added, his tone warm.

Chopper frantically tried to clear up the misunderstanding. "Come on guys, that's enough," Sanji said, giving Chopper a sigh of relief. "Don't bully the new guy," he added, making Chopper even more frantic.

These Straw Hats sure were oddballs, but still, it felt nice how they kindly treated him, Chopper thought.

"They're quite the cheerful bunch, aren't they?" Kureha said, observing the group with a soft smile.

The others next to her couldn't help but agree, their friends' eccentricity a testament to their unique bond.

Luffy, Lucas, Sanji, and Chopper stepped out into the cold, crisp air. The snowy ground crunched underfoot as they approached the Wapol and his men.

"You again? You never learn, do you?" Luffy shouted, his voice firm with resolve.

Wapol sneered, his eyes gleaming with malice. "You! I'll crush you this time, Straw Hats. And this island will be mine once more!" he declared, his menacing laughter echoing through the mountains.

Sanji lit a cigarette, exhaling a puff of smoke. "Bring it on, you tin can. I don't know why you're here but I won't let you disturb Nami's recuperation."

"How dare you intrud in my castle" Wapol fumed, the battle commenced, with Luffy launched himself at Wapol with a mighty stretch. "Gum-Gum Pistol!" he shouted, his fist rocketing towards Wapol. Wapol slamming nearly off the mountain, the force of Luffy's punch creating a shockwave that sent snow flying.

Sanji, meanwhile, squared off against Chess and Kuromarimo, Wapol's henchmen. His kicks were swift and precise, each movement a display of finesse and strength. "You clowns are going down," he growled, spinning into a devastating Diable Jambe, igniting the air around him as he struck Chess with a fiery kick.

Lucas transformed into Big Chill, his translucent wings unfurling as he took to the air. He used his cryokinesis to freeze the ground, creating a slick battlefield that tripped up Wapol's men. "Keep your balance now," he taunted, diving down to deliver a freezing blow to all nearby soldiers.

Chopper, watching the chaos unfold, felt a surge of determination. His fear began to melt away, replaced by a newfound resolve. He glanced at Luffy, Sanji, and Lucas, their unwavering courage inspiring him. "I can do this," he muttered to himself, clenching his fists.

Wapol transformed, his body morphing into a giant metal fortress. "You're no match for me!" he bellowed. But Luffy was undeterred, his eyes blazing with resolve.

"Let's see about that. Gum-Gum Bazooka!" Luffy roared, slamming his fists into Wapol's metal form with tremendous force, sending him staggering.

Chopper transformed into his Heavy Point form, his muscles bulging with power. He leaped into the fray, confronting Kuromarimo head-on. "Rumble Ball!" he shouted, his strength magnified as he delivered a powerful punch that sent Kuromarimo crashing into a tree.

As the battle raged on, Wapol attempted to swallow Luffy, his jaws widening ominously. But Chopper intervened, charging at Wapol with a fierce determination. "Hoof Print Roseo!" he cried, his attack landing squarely on Wapol's jaw, forcing him to release Luffy.

Luffy grinned, a spark of admiration in his eyes. "Nice one, Chopper! Now let's finish this!"

Together, they launched a coordinated attack. Lucas, still in his Big Chill form, froze Wapol's legs, immobilizing him. Sanji followed up with a rapid series of kicks. Chopper, in his Arm Point form, delivered crushing blows to Wapol's metal body, denting and cracking it.
