Unexpected Destined Mate

Chapter 8: Will' Conditions

Would the need for sex really be so great that she wouldn't be able to resist? But why? To be rejected again and suffer in silence?

"I want money, not you, Alex! Besides, it's my family's money, not yours."

"Your lips say one thing, but your eyes say another," he objected when he noticed that the girl was casting lustful glances in his direction. "You'll change your mind in a month at most."

"It's up to me to decide, not you," the girl noted, turning in his direction.

"You're just playing with me, aren't you? You probably do this with every man". She inflame his passion, and then forget about promises and principles.

"And I see you've managed to study me inside and out," Amelia said. "That's great. At least there won't be any unpleasant surprises when we get married. And in addition to that information I only sleep with little people, not wolves. It's my little whim!"

"Well, well, well. I'm afraid we'll have to have a lavish celebration according to all the rules," he said after a short, tense pause. "I hope you won't object. The wedding is necessary for the public."

"I'm against the mark, Alex, but otherwise I see no obstacles! But I'm not going to wear a white dress and a veil, like the little people."

The man bowed his head, and the corners of his lips lifted in a teasing smile.

"Lately, you've been preferring their outfits more and more often, Amelia. Have you really become a connoisseur of black?"

The she-wolf met his gaze defiantly.

"I'm not a virgin, Alex, and I didn't even think about saving it for my husband. And I'm not going to pretend to be someone I'm not."

The man frowned, as if he found her statement somewhat inappropriate.

"Our agreement does not imply that we must be innocent. I am no angel myself and you know it very well. I should be ashamed to say this, but I have lost count of my lovers. Power and money discredit people, Amelia. You probably behaved more modestly."

"Well, yes, where more modest!" the young she-wolf mentally snorted. "Truth is not enough for me to experience even a little bit of what others cannot give!"

"Not at all," the girl lied, examining her manicure. "I have also lost count of my lovers. And for a long time now."

For a few moments, silence fell in the room and silence reigned. The girl raised her eyes and ran into the werewolf's studying gaze. Too calm and thoughtful.

"Anything else?" she asked. "Are there more tedious rules that I must follow?"

"No," Alex said, continuing to watch his bride. "That's all for now. Just stop pressuring me and we'll get the best of both worlds."

The girl smoothed out the non-existent folds on her dress, running her hand over her waist and hips, causing a barely audible growl to come from the side, and smiled charmingly.

"As you say, my lord."

She bowed playfully and walked across the room towards the bed, picking up a small women's handbag from the bedspread. Throwing the strap over her shoulder, she gracefully walked to the door, swaying her luscious hips.

"Be careful, Amelia," Alex warned her. "One wrong move on your part and the deal is over!"

Alex noticed how the girl tried to hide her emotions. She was upset by his threat. Of course, she needed the money much more than he did. Alex has a huge fortune, which is successfully growing every year. And she has nothing and never had anything. Only the money of her late mother, and even that the young she-wolf cannot get without fulfilling the terms of the will.

Amelia sadly noticed that all her life she depended on the mercy of her own father. And she would no longer have to rely on the generosity of strangers to survive. No one knew how she lived, what she ate and what she did.

Everyone thought that the girl led a dissolute lifestyle, but this was not so. Yes, she had to go to the parties of the local elite to be aware of what was happening and to get at least a little attention from others.

The girl quickly dealt with her emotions. Therefore, she, depicting meekness on her face, confidently said:

"I will be an obedient girl, Alex, you'll see! You should not worry about this."

***

The young couple had not yet left the hotel when the paparazzi pounced on them like a pack of hungry dogs. One of the smart reporters held out a microphone to Alex and literally shouted:

"Signor Moretti, the news of your engagement to Senorita Forston and the upcoming wedding has stirred up the whole world. How is it that no one knows anything about your relationship? What can you say about your stormy romance?"

Alex managed to portray absolute indifference to the questions asked on his face, although Amelia was ready to swear that she heard his teeth grinding.

"My deputy for public relations will give you all the information. And now please let us pass. I would like to celebrate the engagement without strangers."

The girl felt a small wave of alpha power coming from him, forcing the impudent journalists to retreat. Alex squeezed her hand tightly, thereby making it clear that she should not dare open her mouth and give an interview.

After passing through the living corridor to the car waiting for them, they immediately disappeared into it. Amelia watched for a long time as the car was accompanied by flashes of cameras.

The trip did not take long. Ten minutes later, the bride and groom settled down in a small restaurant hall, decorated in Venetian style. A crystal chandelier illuminated the secluded room, giving an overview of the surrounding environment.

There was an intimate atmosphere here, which made Amelia ask herself more than once: how many women did Alex bring here for dinner? After all, she knows that he is a skilled seducer of women's hearts. No matter how strange it may sound, she was starting to feel jealous.
