Chapter 20: Happy and Perfect Daily Life

At the same time, at noon, three white vans drove into an abandoned factory and stopped one after another. A group of people wearing white ghost masks approached the vans, opened the trunks, and lifted the heavy wooden boxes inside into the factory one by one.

"Have all the goods arrived?" asked one of the men, who appeared to be a small leader, directing his question to a little boy who was counting the goods.

Xiao Luo nodded and handed the tablet in his hand to the little boss. 

After examining it, the little boss nodded as well. "Very good, but we need to confirm again to avoid mistakes." 

He then approached the pile of goods and opened one of the boxes. Inside were various cold weapons that would prove to be very useful in the future. 

While they were busy, no one noticed the three uninvited guests above them on the factory rooftop. 

"They speak Chinese. Are they the Devil Gang?" Gwen cautiously poked her head out of the window above the factory.

The Devil Gang, led by Mr. Negative, is one of the largest gangs in New York. The leader, Mr. Negative, is a Chinese-American named Martin Lee, whose ability is also quite tricky.

"Yes, they are Mr. Negative's subordinates. They are wielding dangerous weapons, so be careful," Norton advised, aware that they were no match for him but could pose a challenge for Gwen and Felicia, who were newcomers.

"Well~ you have to protect me when the time comes~" Felicia, clinging to Norton's back, whispered softly into his ear.

"Ahem." Norton coughed a few times, signaling Felicia to come down quickly, as he sensed the dangerous aura emanating from Gwen growing stronger.

In the past three days, Norton had lived both comfortably and uncomfortably. He had enjoyed all the benefits he could but had also faced many awkward situations. He had become accustomed to it.

"They're about to take away the goods, let's act," said Norton, leaping into the factory.

The members of the Devil Gang saw the familiar black figure and shouted, "The black spider has appeared! Attack him!"

Norton maneuvered through the bullets, occasionally using his body to catch them. He sprayed the cobweb from his hand, entangling the heads of two adjacent Devil Gang members and pulling them to collide.

"Ah!" they cried out in pain as they fell to the ground.

Seeing that the bullets were ineffective, the other members picked up the cold weapons from their backs and activated their abilities. Black and white lights flashed on the weapons, making them seem extremely dangerous.

"Damn black spider, go to hell!" Xiao Luo No. 1 was holding two whips, black and white lights flickering on the whips, mixed with dangerous electric currents. He swung them forcefully towards Norton, but Norton remained in place, silently observing Xiao Luo No. 1. Suddenly, another black figure appeared, and Felicia blocked the blow intended for Norton, standing directly in front of Xiao Luo.

"A man who hurts others is not a good thing," Felicia said, grabbing the whip and yanking it vigorously. Xiao Luo No. 1 was thrown backward, unable to release the grip on his whip. The nano battle suit on Felicia's body emitted only black smoke, without a scratch, showing its incredible defense.

"How about me?" Felicia asked, turning her head and removing the upper part of her face mask to reveal her beautiful eyes, winking at Norton.

"Very nice," Norton replied. 

"You guys are enough!" Gwen roared, her fists and feet becoming heavier, as the sound of bones breaking could be heard. The young people wailed in pain, likely requiring several months in a cell to recover from their injuries. She accepted the relationship among the three of them, but that didn't mean she enjoyed watching them flaunt their affection. She wanted in, at least with one of them.

"Hey, it seems that a certain little white spider is jealous," Felicia teased, bouncing over to Gwen's back and gently squeezing her shoulder. She whispered, "Okay, okay, tonight, he's yours."

Gwen's face flushed under her mask, and she crossed her arms arrogantly, turning her head away, "Hmph, I don't care."

"Then I want him?"

"No!" Gwen exclaimed upon hearing that Felicia might change her mind. She ran to Norton's side and hugged his arm. "Tonight is mine, you can't compete with me."

Norton, who had remained silent, was speechless. What do you guys think of me, a prize to be shared in turns? 

"There they are! Let's go together!" The demon gang members gathered more people and rushed towards Norton and the others with weapons in hand. Norton shrugged his shoulders, accepting this peculiar daily life of combating crime. "Let's get over this and go home to sleep," he suggested. Norton raised his hand, and the insect instrument flew into his grasp.

"Henshin!" he commanded, and they all responded in unison, "Henshin!"
